03 / One work, in three movements
Educate.
We educate the church by launching classical Christian schools that shape the next generation of Kenyan believers.
Educate
A church that is Samburu-led and built for the long haul needs a literate, gospel-shaped next generation. Most Samburu have never had the chance to read, and the schools within reach are stretched thin. Part of the church's calling is to build a place of learning for its own children. This is the work of a whole community, and we are asking ours to build it with us.
Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.
Nkishon Classical Christian School
Opened in January 2026 in partnership with the Rafiki Foundation, using a classical Christian curriculum built for Africa and trained teachers.
Founding teachers
Two of our own Sunday school teachers earned diplomas at Rafiki Teacher's College in Nairobi and returned to lead the school.
A Sunday school feeder
Formally launched in January 2022, gathering children of the church each Lord's Day, led by volunteer women from the congregation.
What we hope to build
We long to build more as God provides: a library that community members can also use, a building for the Bible college to train more pastors, and facilities for the translation work. Only part of the school stands today. This is work still ahead of us, and we invite others to help us build it.
