God is building His church across Kenya, and He uses ordinary people to do it. There is a place in this work for a week, a season, or a lifetime.

A short visit
Open Trips
Worship with Segera Reformed Church, spend time in our school, and serve alongside our team. For individuals and small church groups, capped at six per trip; a short application is required, and approval is not automatic.

What you would do
- Follow the direction of the trip leader and our field team at all times
- Participate fully in the daily rhythm: worship, work, and life together
- Read and sign our Child Safeguarding Policy before arrival
Asked of you
- A member in good standing of a Bible-believing church, with a reference from your pastor
- Age 18 or older, or accompanied by a parent or guardian
- A valid passport and the ability to travel to Kenya
One heart behind all three internships: come live inside the work for a season, serve where you are needed, and test the call by carrying it.
For recent graduates and students
Education Internship
For current university students and recent graduates. Serve at Nkishon Classical Christian School alongside our teachers; no teaching degree required. Faith-supported.

- A full school-week schedule in classrooms and school life, under the Head of School

- A member in good standing of a Bible-believing church, with your pastor's endorsement
- A genuine love for children and a willingness to serve wherever the school needs you
For seminary students
Seminary Internship
For seminary students. Preach and teach under supervision, serve in the church, and sit in on the Bible college; a summer term or a longer semester term.

What you would do
- Regular preaching and teaching under supervision, with honest feedback
- Full participation in church, Bible college, and team rhythms
- A written reflection on your call at the end of the term, discussed with Jay and your pastor
Asked of you
- Enrolled in a confessional reformed or Presbyterian seminary, or able to wholeheartedly affirm the Westminster Standards
- A member in good standing of your church, with your pastor's endorsement
- Committed to a daily walk with Christ and to the authority of Scripture
For Kenyan believers
National Internship
For Kenyan believers. A six-month or one-year formation season in Segera, serving in one of three tracks: ministry and church, teaching and school, or administration and operations.

- A full weekly rhythm of work in your track, worship, and discipleship
- Required reading before and during the internship
- Serve under your track lead and the field leadership

- A Kenyan believer with a credible profession of faith and a member in good standing of a Bible-believing church
- Your pastor's endorsement
- A hunger to grow in reformed doctrine and a willingness to be taught
For those God is calling to give their lives to the gospel in Kenya. There is no application deadline for long-term roles. The path begins whenever you do.
Long-term role
Church-Planting Missionary
An ordained minister, or a man pursuing ordination, in a confessional Presbyterian or reformed denomination. Faith-supported; about twelve to eighteen months from first conversation to arrival.

What you would do
- Learn the local language and culture as a first-order ministry task
- Preach, disciple, and train local believers toward indigenous-led churches
- Serve under the field leadership and in partnership with your sending church
Asked of you
- is an ordained minister, or pursuing ordination, in good standing with a confessional Presbyterian or reformed denomination (for example PCA, OPC, EPC, ARP, BPC)
- holds a Bachelor's degree (expected) and an M.Div. or equivalent theological training (preferred)
- wholeheartedly affirms the Westminster Standards (WCF, WLC, WSC)
Long-term role
Classical Christian Teacher
For men and women called to both missions and teaching, in grammar-stage classrooms at the school. Faith-supported; applications are open year-round.

What you would do
- Teach a full grammar-stage classroom load under the Head of School
- Integrate Scripture into every subject and model Christ-like virtue to students and families
- Participate fully in the life of Segera Reformed Church
Asked of you
- holds a Bachelor's degree (expected); teaching experience preferred; a classical background is a plus, not a requirement
- is called to both missions and teaching
- wholeheartedly affirms the Westminster Standards (WCF, WLC, WSC)
